This seminar (in English) is for all arts and culture professionals and organisations that wish to embrace cultural diversity in their operations and search for ways to do so. The programme covers practical aspects of the promotion and implementation of cultural diversity on organisational and project level:

  • why most of the diversity programmes fail
  • effective audience engagement and cultural diversity
  • strategic perspective on cultural diversity that empowers organisations
  • knowledge networks and how they contribute to development and relevance
  • how intercultural networking can work in different art forms

The seminar is also an opportunity to learn about upcoming Dörren networking events for arts and culture professionals in spring 2022!

Elizaveta Bomash, creator of Art Ally https://artally.net/ and an alumna of the Arts Management department of Sibelius Academy will share the findings of her master’s thesis “Implementing cultural diversity in arts organisations: why and how to use intercultural networking”.
