Networking meetings for classical musicians from international and local backgrounds, based on playing together using sight reading, combining professional and social interaction.
The purpose of Music Mingling is to give an interactive meeting platform in the capital region for classical musicians from international and local backgrounds and help them widen their professional networks. The interaction is based on sight reading chamber music for various instrument groups, giving an opportunity for professional and social interaction in a relaxed atmosphere.
We aim to have a mix of musicians (string instrumentalists, wind instrumentalists and pianists) from various professional working and studying environments including orchestra members, freelancers, instrument teachers and university level students.
Music Mingling takes place at Luckan on selected Monday evenings from 18:30 to approximately 21:00. The meetings are suited for around 20 participants at a time, giving a chance for all participants to actively take part by playing at least one chamber music piece. There will be light refreshments served during the evening to keep everyone going! The meetings are organized with the collaboration of Tal Riva Theodorou.
